Lack of Evidence in Amnesia Pub Attack – All Accused Acquitted

Mangaluru: Due to lack of evidence, the accused in the Amnesia Pub attack have been acquitted by the third JMFC Court here on March 12.

In the infamous pub attack, the police had named thirty persons most of them members of the Hindu organizations. Advocate Asha Nayak and Vinod argued the case in favour of the accused and Judge Manjunath announced the judgement.

On January 24, 2009, miscreants had barged into the Amnesia Pub in Balmatta and assaulted boys and girls. Due to lack of evidence in the case, all the accused in the pub attack case were acquitted.
