Dr Lavoisier Joseph Cardozo (75), popularly known as Dr Lavo, son of the late Lafayette Joubert and the late Angelica Autilia Cardozo; Beloved husband of Blenure (nee Barreto) for 42 years passed away in Farmington, Michigan, USA on August 13, 2015.
Loving father of Yvonne (Alan) Baptist of Novi, Michigan; Charmaine (Nathan) Derhammer of Oak Park, Illinois; and Shaun Cardozo of Farmington, Michigan.
Cherished grandfather of Maya, Sonia & Trevor (children of Alan & Yvonne Baptist); Evie, Griffin, Declan & Eloise (children of Nathan & Charmaine Derhammer).
Dear brother of Maria (Kenny) Dantas of Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
Dr Lavo was a distinguished Professor for 35 years, Department of Internal Medicine. Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit, MI. He was also Corporate Medical Director, Geriatrics at Detroit Medical Center.
