Lookout Notice! Andrew Rodrigues Arrested in Cheating and Murder Case
Mangaluru: The Mangaluru South Police have arrested a person who was absconding in cheating and murder case of Kumar under LOC in Goa Airport.
The arrested has been identified as Andrew Suresh Rodrigues from Mangaluru.
According to sources, Andrew was booked (28/2017) under section 468, 406, 420 and 34 IPC by the Mangaluru South Police and was absconding since then. Andrew was arrested at Goa International Dabolim Airport as a LOC was issued against him. The Mangaluru police were informed by the Airport authorities who later handed him over to the Mangaluru South Police.
During interrogation, it was revealed that a murder case was registered against him (68/2014) in the North Police station under section 302, 202 and 34. It was also revealed that he was involved in the Kumar murder case.
Andrew was produced before the court and the Second CJM court and remanded to judicial custody till July 23.
