Lotus Salon and Wellness at Kottara Chowki Raided, Woman Pimp Arrested
Mangaluru: The CCB Police along with the Kavoor police raided a massage parlour and arrested a woman pimp at Kottara Chowki here on July 30.
On getting information that the Lotus Salon and Wellness centre located in Ramanugraha building at Kottara Chowki was involved in prostitution by hiring women for body massage. The CCB police along with the Kavoor police raided the Salon and Wellness centre and arrested the Woman Pimp who was forcing other women to indulge in prostitution.
The woman pimp was hiring other women for body massage in her massage centre and using them for prostitution. The partners of the Lotus Salon and Wellness centre Rajesh, Satish and Jayaraj are absconding. The police have arrested the Woman pimp and rescued five victims from the centre. The police have also seized Rs 14,700 cash and 2 mobile phones from her possession.
Under the direction of Police commissioner T R Suresh, and the able guidance of DCP Law and Order Hanumantharaya, DCP Crime and Traffic Uma Prashanth, the operation was carried out by the CCB Inspector Shantharam, Kavoor Police Inspector K R Naik, CCB PSI Shyam Sundar, H D Kabbal Raj and others.
