Major Tragedy Averted, Goods Lorry Hits Gas cylinder Truck
Mangaluru: A Large Goods lorry rammed into the rear side of a Gas Cylinder carrying truck at the Nanthur Junction here on September 11.
According to the police, the Goods Truck was plying from KPT towards Pumpwell. And the gas cylinder carrying truck was moving towards Kadri from Bikkaranakatta. At Nanthur Junction the heavy goods lorry rammed into the rear side of the gas cylinder carrying truck as a result of which the gas cylinder truck rolled over.
Kamalaksha (40) the cleaner of the gas cylinder truck was injured in the mishap and has been admitted to the A J Hospital. Luckily the gas cylinders were empty and the driver was taking them to the godown.
A case is yet to be registered.
