Man Hit by Autorickshaw while Crossing Road at Kalpane, Condition Critical
Mangaluru: A 50-year-old man was severely injured after he was hit by an autorickshaw at Kalpane, Kulshekar here on June 4.
The injured has been identified as Ganesh (50) from Kalpane.
On June 4 at around 7:18 pm, Ganesh while crossing the road near Flt Lt Ronald Kevin Serrao road at Kalpane was hit by an autorickshaw and thrown to the ground. Due to the impact, Ganesh suffered a head injury and a broken leg.
Team Mangalorean, who were just behind the auto, immediately informed the police and also helped in shifting Ganesh to the government Wenlock Hospital where his injuries were immediately attended. Since Ganesh was unconscious, it was difficult to contact his family members. After sometime when his family members arrived, Ganesh was shifted to a private hospital where he is being treated in the intensive care unit.
The East Traffic police arrived at the spot for further investigation.
