Around 40 riders from our club assembled at Mangala Stadium and commenced the ride at 7:00 am to the War Memorial riding a distance of around 12 kms in the city. Lt. Col. Gracian Sequeira was the Chief Guest for our event. He has to his credit 29 years of service in the Indian Army and many medals for his contribution to the country. Along with him, we had Col. Bhandary and Brigadier Rai who shared their experience in serving in the Army with the gathering.

Tribute to Indian Armed Forces is an Annual initiative MbC started in 2016 to pay our respect to the soldiers of our country who are relentlessly working to safeguard our country sacrificing all the luxuries in their life. We the club members felt the need of showing our solidarity to them for the biggest contribution they are doing to ensure our lives are safe and secured. Through this Annual event, we want to ensure that common people understand and give the due respect to our soldiers that they deserve.

We laid flowers at the War Memorial and revered our martyrs. At the end of our tribute to the Armed Forces, we also had our Annual Award Ceremony where winners of various initiatives of our club in 2017 were recognized and felicitated.
