Mangaluru: A 55-year-old man was stabbed to death at Kavoor Mura here on October 7.
The deceased has been identified as Mohammed (55), son of Hasanabba, a resident of Ambika Nagar Kavoor, he was a scrap dealer by profession.
According to sources, at around 8:00 pm, Hasanabba went to drop his friend on his two wheeler. It is learnt that a unidentified person stabbed Mohammed. Two of his friends immediately rushed him to A J Hospital on the two wheeler where he was declared brought dead.
Sources said that there was a land dispute within the family which may have led to the incident.
A case has been registered in the Kavoor police station and investigation is on.
