Mangaluru: A student has been assaulted by the government bus conductor at Jyothi here on March 10.
The injured student has been identified as Samad, a student of 1st BBM, Rosario College.
According to Samad, he was travelling by KSRTC bus from Uppinangady. Being a student he was using concessional pass in the bus to travel. Everyday the conductor was fighting with the students for using concessional pass in the bus.
On March 10, when the bus reached near Jyothi, the conductor assaulted Samad. He was admitted in the hospital for treatment. By knowing that the student has been assaulted all the students went to the Pandeshwar station to file a complaint, but they have been sent to Bunder police station to file a case.
Bunder police have registered a case and investigation is on.
