Mangaluru:  MLA Lobo inaugurated the Jawaharlal Nehru Photo Exhibition at NGO Hall near Mini Vidhana Soudha, here on November 5.

After the inauguration Lobo interacting with the children said that all of us should recollect what Chacha Nehru was and that children were very near to him.

He further said that Children should follow in the footsteps of Chacha Nehru and learn about his life.

Later speaking to the mediapersons Lobo said, “Jawaharlal Nehru was the first Prime Minister of India. He was a great leader who was responsible for all the progress in India. Pandith Nehru not only shaped the foreign policies of the country but also strived hard for the development of science and technology. Today Bangaluru is called as the Silicon Valley and the major credit goes to Pandith Jawaharlal Nehru. The country’s development stands on the foundation laid by him”.

“Today we have inaugurated this exhibition in the presence of children since Jawaharlal Nehru gave importance of giving love and affection to children, who are the bright future of the country”.
