Addressing the protesters, president of the ‘One Determined Dream Foundation’ Abdullah Binu said that it has been almost a week since IAS officer, D K Ravi, died in mysterious circumstances. “The entire state is demanding that the case be handed over to the CBI but the state government led by Siddaramaiah is not ready to hand over the case to CBI. D K Ravi was an upright and honest officer. The entire people of Karnataka want to know the cause of his death. There are political hands behind his death and they should be brought to light.” He demanded the government to hand over the case to the CBI.

The Secretary of the One Determined Dream Foundation Suhan Alva said, “We have formed a foundation to fight for the right causes without the involvement of political leaders or politics. This is an organization formed by the students of St Aloysius and SDM colleges. The recent mysterious death of an IAS officer has shocked everyone. There are even some rumours being spread to spoil the image of a honest officer. D K Ravi’s case should be handed over to the CBI and a thorough investigation should be done to bring out the truth. Whoever is involved in his death should be punished severely and justice should be done with Ravi’s family.”

Vice President Akanksh Kumar said, “There is an allegation that some of the politicians are involved in Ravi’s case. In such a situation, CID will work according to the State government. If the case will be handed over to the CBI, we can believe in their reports. AICC president Sonia Gandhi has already instructed the Chief Minister to hand over the case to CBI. We hope that the Chief Minister will listen to the order and hand over the case to CBI.

Members of the foundation Sharan Shetty, Sujath Usman and others were also present.
