Mangaluru: PU College Promoted by Suraj Educational Trust to be Inaugurated in Mudipu

Mangaluru: Addressing the media persons during the press meet held at Mangalore press Club, Rtn PHF Dr Manjunath S Revankar, Chairman of Suraj Educational and Charitable Trust (R) said, ” Pre-University College promoted by the Trust will be inaugurated on Thursday, 16 April 2015. The Trust has already launched the Suraj International Higher Primary School, and the Jnana Deepa High School, where both these schools have brought name and fame to the Trust. We don’t just enroll students with good marks, but also those who are poor in studies. Once they enter our school we train and educate them to fair well and good marks in their SSLC examinations. During the year 2013-14 the school had secured 100 percent results”.

Revankar further said, ” Prior to the formal function which will start at 4pm, there will be a procession starting from Mudipu junction and will culminate at the school premises. The procession will feature various doll acts, Chende music , Poornakumbha and so on. Odiyoor Seer Gurudevananda and Daivajna Brahman Mutt in Karki Honnavar seer Sachidananda Jnaneshwar Bharati will inaugurate the College”

“State minister Ramanath Rai will inaugurate the newly constructed School office, while Abusali Kamil Sakhafi of Jumma Masjid in Mudipu will launch the College website. The programme will be inaugurated by MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, and State minister UT Khader will preside over the function. Rev Fr Gregory D’souza- parish priest of Mudipu church will unveil the College logo/emblem, and the release of “Jnanaspoorthi” publication will be done by Brahmacharini Mangalmrutha Chaitanya of Matha Amrruthanandamai Math, Mangaluru. The formal function will conclude with variety of cultural program, including Music performance by Naushad and group of Shads Music World””

During the press meet, various awards received by the school were displayed for the view of the reporters. Smt Hemalatha Revankar- correspondent of the Trust, Harish Shetty-manager and Surekha Raj- headmistress were also present on the dais.
