Mangaluru: Shri Rama Sene Assures Support for Virat Hindu Samajotsava

Mangaluru: Members of the Shri Rama Sene assured their full support for the Virat Hindu Samajotsava which will be held on March 1 at the Nehru Maidan, said the Zone President of SRS, Anand Shetty Adyar, in a press meet held at the Press Club, Urva here, on February 26.

Addressing the mediapersons Anand said that to mark its Golden Jubilee, the Vishwa Hindu Parishat is holding a Samajotsava at the Nehru Maidan. “We have met the VHP leaders at the Utsava office and assured our support for the success of the Samajotsava. Members of the SRS have started campaigning about the ‘utsava’ by visiting every house and inviting people for the samajotsava. In the district, the SRS has 5000 registered members who will be participating in the Samajotsava.”

He further said that such Samajotsavas should be held once a year to unite Hindus. “It is our responsibility to take part in such celebrations without fail. We are working round the clock for the peaceful celebration of the Samajotsava.” He also said that every Hindu should take part in the Samajotsava without fail.

When asked about who would be responsible if any untoward incident takes place during the celebrations, Anand said, “There will not be any untoward incident; let’s see on March 1. Discussions have already been held for the smooth functioning of the Samajotsava, the VHP leaders are in constant touch with the SRS members and they are guiding us for the success of the celebrations.”

District president Jeevan Neermarga, District Secretary Pradeep Moodshedde, District vice president Ganesh Attavar and city president Guru Pandeshwar were also present.
