Mangaluru: A 25-year-old youth has been arrested under suspicion of having contact with the ISIS by the police at Permude here on January 22.
The arrested has been identified as Najmul Huda (25), a native of Bihar, student of a reputed Engineering college in Bengaluru.
According to sources the teams of ATS and NIA arrived from Mumbai and Chennai and arrested the suspect with the help of the local police at Permude.
Najmul who was suspected to be a member of ISIS organization was arrested for instigating the youth to join the terror organization.
The NIA and ATS teams have taken Najmul to Mumbai for further investigation.

I’m surprised to see the name being published in the report. I thought that the new standards allow the names to be published only when they belong to sanaathana dharma? I call upon all the ‘brave’ social activists, journalists and writers from mangaluru area to come forward and start returning their SSLC certificate, Driving License, Addhaara Card and whatever they can!! Nothing is more important than fighting ‘intolerance’ shown by NIA and Police!!!
