Manipal: A 20-year old engineering student of Manipal Institute of Technology died after falling from the fourth floor of a building here, on February 2.
The deceased has been identified as T Praneeth Reddy (20), son of T Rajeshekar Reddy, a native of Andra Pradesh. He was residing in Room No 403, fourth floor of Mandovi Emerald Building Manipal along with his friends. On Sunday, February 1, at around 3:30 am, Praneeth fell from the balcony of his apartment and suffered serious injuries. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, where without responding to treatment breathed his last at 7:30 am.
Praneeth’s father was informed about the incident. His family members reached Manipal and have filed a complaint suspecting foul play.
