Many Opposition leaders Knocking BJP door, will Join the Party during Parivarthana Yatra – Sanjeev Matandoor

Mangaluru: “To create a New Karnataka (Nava Karnataka) and to take the state towards development, the Parivarthana Yatra was flagged off in Bengaluru on November 2. People should join this Yatra, in Bengaluru more than one lakh people participated in the rally. The Yatra will travel for 73 days across all the 224 constituencies to bring changes in the state. The Yatra led by B S Yeddyurappa will travel from Sakeleshpur and reach Gundya on November 8 at 4:30 pm. The MP, MLAs and other party leaders will welcome the Yatra in Gundya. On November 8 and 9th, the Yatra will halt in Puttur because of the Tipu Jayanti celebrations in Madikeri and section 144 being imposed. The Yatra will be held in 6 constituencies. On November 10, The Yatra will be flagged off from Chennakeshava Temple Sullia, at 3:00 pm in Puttur and at 4 PM at Beltangady. On November 11th the Yatra will be flagged off from Bantwal Narayana Guru Temple Grounds at 10:00 am, at 3:00 pm at the Moodbidiri Swaraj Maidan and at 5:00 pm at the Nehru Maidan Mangaluru”, said the BJP district president Sanjeev Matandoor in a press meet held at the BJP office here on November 7.

Addressing the mediapersons Sanjeev Matandoor said, “All the party workers and voters in large numbers will take part in the Parivarthana Yatra. During the rally, issues such as the murder of Hindu activists, Ganja mafia, land mafia and the failure of the Congress government in the state will be highlighted. All party workers should bring awareness among the people about the achievements of the NDA government led by PM Narendra Modi in the centre”.

When asked about Harikrishna Bantwal joining the BJP, Sanjeev said, “We will not disclose any names now, within two days we will give you a surprise. Many leaders from various political parties will join the BJP during the Parivarthana Yatra. Many Political leaders are knocking the doors of BJP and soon they will join the party. Those who are willing to join BJP we will welcome them accordingly.”

When asked if section 144 will be imposed in the district during Tipu Jayanti, Sanjeev said, “BJP is a political party and we have started our Parivarthana Yatra. We hope that the administration will not impose section 144 during the Parivarthana Yatra.”

When asked whether the central ministers will attend the Parivarthana Yatra, Sanjeev said, “We are expecting Yogi Adityanath to attend the Parivarthana Yatra. We are trying our best to invite some of the leaders and their names will be announced soon.”

The convenor of the Parivarthana Rally in DK Umesh Kotian, Former MLA Yogish Bhat, Capt Brijesh Chowta, Kishore Rai, Jithendra Kottary and Satyajith Suratkal were also present.
