Miss Diva Universe 2019 Adline Castelino to be Felicitated on Feb 29
Udupi: Adline Castelino of Udupi, Karnataka, who will represent India at the Miss Universe pageant 2020 will be felicitated by the parishioners of St Francis Xavier’s Church Udyavar on Saturday, February 29 said Steevan Colaco programme convener of ICYM Golden Jubilee committee.
He was speaking at a press meet held at the Press Club on Friday, February 28. Adline emerged winner at the eighth edition of Miss Diva contest held in Mumbai on Saturday, February 22 and was crowned Miss Diva Universe 2019.
Adline is the daughter of Alphonse and Meera Castelino a native of Korangrapadi near Udyavar. She was born in Kuwait and moved to Mumbai at the age of 15. She did her schooling from St Xavier and graduated from Wilson College of Business Administration. She is a professional model and also works with VSP, an organization that functions to provide a sustainable livelihood for farmers to curb farmer suicides and inequality.
The Golden Jubilee celebrations committee of ICYM Udyavar, Catholic Sabha and Catholic Sthree Sangatan has jointly oranised a felicitation programme at the Udyavar Church grounds on Saturday, February 29 evening at 5:30 pm. Prior the programme Adline Castelino will be taken in a procession to the Church premises at 4:15 pm.
Fr Stany B Lobo Chancelllor of Udupi Diocese, Jagadeesh DC Udupi, Vishnuvardhan SP Udupi, Lalaji R Mendon MLA Kaup, Dinakar Babu president Udupi Zilla Panchayat, Pramod Madhwaraj, Vinay Kumar Sorake former minister, Sugandhi Shekar president Udyavara GP, Abdul Jaleel Saheb, Leo D’Souza Dubai enterprnur, Alwyn Quadros president Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh will be participating as the chief guests of the function, he said.
