Missing Kollur girl returns home sick, abduction suspected

Kundapur: A girl who went missing on Monday, August 22 returned home in a poor state of health on Tuesday, August 23 and was admitted to the government hospital Kundapur.

The girl Sunitha (name changed) from Kollur left home saying that she would go to Kundapur but did not return. The family thought of filing a missing persons complaint on Tuesday. But on Tuesday morning the girl returned home in an auto rickshaw in a poor state of health. Immediately the family members admitted her to the Kundapur government hospital.

According to reliable sources, the girl was abducted by three youth and a powerful politician’s son is said to be involved in the abduction case. Many political persons had gathered in hospital premises, said sources.

Byndoor Police have also visited the hospital.
