Missing Person’s Body Found near Netravati Dam
Mangaluru: A missing person was found dead at the Netravati Dam here on June 10.
According to the complaint by Usha, on June 1 night Usha and her husband Ramesh went to sleep after dinner. Ramesh went outside as he heard some voice. But Usha said that she did not hear anyone speaking outside and so told Ramesh to get back inside and go back to sleep.
On the same night again at around 4 am, Ramesh said that he will go outside, check around and come back but he never returned. In this connection, a missing person’s case was registered in the Bantwal Rural police station.
The investigations were on and on June 10, the body of Ramesh was found near the Netravati dam. The body was sent for a post-mortem. Investigations are on and a case has been registered under section 174 of CRPC.
