Mohammed Ali Shihab, IAS Takes Charge as Chief Vigilance Officer of MRPL

Mangaluru: Shri Mohammed Ali Shihab A, IAS (Nagaland Cadre, 2011), has taken charge as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL), a Schedule ‘A’ Miniratna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) and a subsidiary of ONGC under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.

The Competent Authority of the Government of India has approved the appointment of Shri Mohammed Ali Shihab A, IAS, as CVO of MRPL under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.

An officer of the 2011 batch of the Indian Administrative Service, Shri Mohammed Ali Shihab A brings with him extensive administrative experience and exposure to public governance. He has served in key leadership positions in the State Secretariat and District Administration and has been associated with several flagship development sectors of the Government of Nagaland.

His career has been marked by a strong track record of effective administration and delivering impactful governance outcomes.

MRPL has welcomed Shri Mohammed Ali Shihab A and expressed confidence that his leadership will further strengthen the company’s vigilance framework.
