Mortal Remains of Missing Person Sameer found Dead in Tamil Nadu Reach Ganjimat

Mangaluru: The body of the missing person who was found dead in Tamil Nadu finally arrived at his hometown Ganjimat on September 25.

On September 13, Sameer (35) from Ulipady, Ganjimat along with his wife and daughter had gone to Bengaluru for an Interview. On September 15, Sameet had called his mother and spoken to her from Bengaluru. That was the last call received from Sameer, since then the family did not receive any calls nor was he in touch with anyone.

On September 18, Sameer’s family got the information that his wife Firdous had reached Kaup from Bengaluru. When Sameer’s family members contacted Firdous she said that Sameer was in a relationship with another woman and had dropped them in Kaup. The family members got suspicious and filed a complaint in the Bajpe police station.

Many of Sameer’s relatives including his brother went to Bengaluru in search of Sameer, while they tried to call his mobile, they got the location of the mobile being in Tamil Nadu location. They also received the information that a body was found in Devatanapatti in Tamil Nadu. All of them went to Tamil Nadu and met the local police, when the police showed the photograph of the dead body which they had found, Sameer’s brother Zaheer identified the shoes, watch, belt and dress on the body and confirmed it.

Sameer’s brother provided all the necessary documents to the Tamilnadu police. After completing the formalities, the body was removed from the grave and handed over to the family members. On Monday, September 24 the body was brought to Ganjimat by a special ambulance where the final rites will be held on September 25.
