MRPL Wins GEEF Global WaterTech Award 2026
Mangaluru: Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) has been conferred the prestigious GEEF Global WaterTech Award 2026 in the category “Water Efficiency Management Company of the Year.” MRPL emerged as the winner among organisations from diverse industry sectors in recognition of its sustainable water management initiatives and efforts to enhance water efficiency.
Shri Prasanna Kumar T, General Manager – HSE, MRPL, received the award on behalf of Team MRPL at a ceremony held in New Delhi on August 21, 2026. The award was presented by Dr. Syamal Kumar Sarkar, former Secretary, Jal Shakti, Government of India, and Dr. Diana Daczi, Counsellor for Science and Technology, Embassy of Hungary.
The recognition reaffirms MRPL’s commitment to environmental stewardship, resource optimisation, circularity, cleaner technologies, and sustainable growth.
