Addressing the mediapersons, Dr Khan said, “The results of some students have been withheld due to technical reasons like, non approval of admission, writing wrong codes, non submission of internal assessment marks and financial statements by colleges. However such results are immediately announced when proper clarifications are given by concerned colleges or office.”

Clarifying about the mix up of results he said, “There is no chance of marks being interchanged between different courses. The results published on the website are provisional results which have been released course-wise and semester-wise one after the other. Therefore there can’t be any mix up of results. Whatever marks they have scored are intact.”

“I understand that the delay in announcement of results is causing worry to the students. If they find any issue or any discrepancy in their results, we request them to bring to the notice of the university through the helpline 0824-2287277 or our office at 0824-2287327. Till now around 300 complaints have been registered from the students through this helpline. It is open from 9 am to 6 pm everyday including Sundays,” he said.

He further said, “If mistakes have been conducted by the outsourcing agencies the university will definitely take action against them, as it is mentioned in the contract.”

When asked if the lecturers had not accompanied the outsourcing agencies during the evaluation, he said, “Our lecturers have accompanied them, it is part of our job.”

“The students need not panic. We are looking into their grievances and within a week all things will be sorted out,” he added.
