Mumbai: Save Our Land (SOUL) team condemns the unwarranted attack on the St. George Church, New Panvel and the vandalisation of the Statue, and demands the Chief Minister and the Director General of Police, Maharashtra for security to Churches and prompt arrest of the culprits.

There is a sinister pattern in such attacks on Christian Churches, whether it is in Delhi or Haryana or Jabalpur and now very close in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Arresting the culprits promptly would send a message loud and clear that such acts of vandalisation will not be tolerated in Maharashtra. SOUL demands the Chief Minister to ensure that Christian Churches and its Institutions are given protection and security without much delay.

Chief Minister must play his pro-active role to see that the poison of communalism does not affect Maharashtra and the minorities are protected. Any laxity on the part of his Government and the Police would be disastrous. Please don’t take the patience of the Christian Community for granted. Please act now, firmly but surely Mr. Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis.
