At the end of the Elite Miss India 2015 Finale, the judges had a tough time to pick the best among the final eight contestants- and since they were matching close to each other in points, the organizers decided to select six winners- the top winner was Sonal Chawan from Mumbia crowned as “Elite Miss India Global”, while Monica Diwedi (Lucknow-UP) was crowned a s “Elite Miss India International Queen”; Amanpreet K from Rajasthan -Gujarath was crowned as ” Elite Miss India Earth”; Namratha Sharma from Mumbai was crowned as ” Elite Miss India Inter Continental”; and last two winners with a tie namely Upasana Roy Chowdhary from Bengaluru- Karnataka, and Akshatha Sonawane from Mumbai were crowned as “Elite Miss India Asia” respectively.
New Delhi: It was the night that everyone was waiting for, as 22 lucky girls moved one step closer to their dream as the finalists of the Elite Miss Indias 2015 pageant- and the grand and glittering pageant was held on the lawns of Palm Green Hotel/Resort-Delhi during the weekend, organized by Elite India Pageant in association with Fashion abcd-Mangaluru. The top 22 finalists sashayed the ramp with lot of confidence and oomph and looked stunning in their gorgeous gowns and other attires. To reach to this final stage, the contestants had undergone vigorous training from the best experts of the industry, and with a dynamic, holistic and rigorous training programme designed for these finalists, the gratification the winners stood to gain the prestigious Crown, along with fame that transcended everything else. For these finalists, it was a start of a challenging, yet a rewarding journey.
Enter in to the world of Palm Green Resort Hotel, which was a perfect place for this glittering event. The resort is indeed a premier destination for tourists, business travellers and event management groups, which combines the luxury of stay with best-in-class facility for business meetings, conferences and high-energy social get together. After successful Auditions in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Jharkhand and Delhi- the final day had arrived to select Elite Miss India 2015 among the 22 finalists. For the last couple of days the 22 damsels have been rigorously practicing and are being groomed for the big finale night. Providing a platform to seek encourage and natural hidden beauty and talent across the country help fulfill their aspirations and dreams, was the main motto behind organizing this pageant- which was also aimed for a good cause, a awareness campaign launched by PM Narendra Modi on the occasion of International Day of the Girl Child, where he had called for the eradication of female foeticide -“Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao”.
The 22 female contestants from different Indian states who had made it to the finale after successfully completing the auditions were, Sonal Chawan (Mumbai), Prarthana Subramani (Karnataka), Amanpreet Karnawal (Rajasthan), Priya Chowdary (Andhra Pradesh), Namratha Sharma (Mumbai), Monika Dwivedi (Uttar Pradesh), Nisha Rajput (Mumbai), Vashundhra (Delhi), Aishwarya Rawat (Delhi), Upasana Roy Chowdhary (Karnataka), Romi Ningombany (Manipur), Tsenda (Tibet), Akshata Sonawane (Mumbai), Akshaya Alsi (Mumbai-representing Gujarath), Mercy Jill Jill (Kerala), Heena kaur (Delhi), Diksha Rajput (Madhya Pradesh), Khushi Mahato (Jharkhand), Nancy Sharma ( Chandigarh-Punjab), Riya Palekar (Goa), Mahi Kolwekar (Karnataka) and Sushmitha Gowda (Karnataka)
The temperature soared to a notch higher today as the finalists of this Elite Miss India pageant were unveiled amidst lot of fanfare. These aspiring 22 beauties who finally made it to the final cut came one step closer to living their dream of winning the crown. Choreographer Arun Ratna, the International Choreographer from Dubai said, “These 22 finalists are an eclectic mix of beauty and brains. For the past couple of days and today it has been an experience of a lifetime for these girls as they will train with the best in the grooming, fashion and lifestyle business. I am sure they feel proud being a part of the Elite Miss India and aspire to be the next reigning beauty queens.”
The judges for Elite Miss India 2015 Finale were Akila K Reddy (Miss USA Asia 2014), Sonal Monteiro (Tulu and Kannada actress-Mangaluru ), Sandhya Madaan (Celebrity and make-Up Artist-Delhi), Dr Siddarth Naik- Smile Dental Surgeon-a Mangalurean based in Mumbai), Santhosh Shetty ( Entrepreneur/City Cable- also a Mangalurean based in Mumbai), Archana Tomar (Fashion Designer-Delhi) and Nevidita (Social worker-Delhi). Elite Miss India was also proud to announce its association with Kannada film “Abhisaarike”, where a scene was shot during the pageant finale, where Mangalorean actress Sonal Monteiro walked on the ramp as part of the scene-it is learnt that the movie will be released in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
