No Humanity Shown Towards The Speechless!
Mangaluru: In today’s world when people are changing their nature and their point of view they have forgotten what is humanity and its importance because it’s said that,”If you do something good, you get good in return”.This is my personal experience about how peoples behaviour towards an animal, especially dogs. Normally, a dog is faithful and loyal towards humans because they never forget what we have done towards them. It is believed that “A DOG IS MAN’S BEST FRIEND”. But what I saw was not a normal thing.
During my exams, I was sitting in the college, where my friends had taken my Activa scooter and gone for a ride.When they came back, they said to me that there were three puppies wrapped in a plastic and thrown. I and my friend quickly rushed to that place to check what has exactly happened. On our way, we bought some milk to feed the puppies. I fed the puppies with milk, but the way they drank the milk made me and my friend very emotional because it showed how hungry they were. I never thought that people were so heartless that they would wrap the puppies in plastic and throw- how can they even do that? Don’t they have a heart? I felt bad so I took them home. Seeing these cute puppies, my Uncle wanted them, and he took them, and now the puppies all are happy.
This may not be the only incident where dogs are not taken care of and left on the road to die.Let me give you another example: I am crazy about watching videos related to animals. One day as I was browsing through videos on the Internet, my eyes just saw something as “Yulin Festival” I got excited and clicked on it. As I was watching the video, it showed me the culture of China on how cruelly they treat dogs. This festival happens every year in China, where people go to streets in search of “Stray” dogs, put them in the cage prior to the festival date. On the day of a festival, these dogs put into the boiling water and some dogs are slaughtered brutally. Many people have protested against this custom but all in vain since the people don’t want to give up their custom which has been going on from their ancestors.
Some dogs which are used in the festival are bought up from the farms, some people grow the dogs and sell them for a good price to the people who are conducting this festival. I don’t know how people can be so cruel to treat animals in such a way. Guess that they don’t have a heart. If the dogs are treated very well in turn we also get the same from the mute creatures who can’t express their feelings as they can not talk but they do return the help done to them by being loyal to us.
I would like to end my story by telling that dogs are also living beings, they also have feeling and a heart, and they desire to love and care for everyone. Please don’t harm them, because they also have a family waiting for them to return. If you don’t feel like feeding them, but please don’t throw stones or beat them up, just because they come near to you, in fact, they will never harm you.They also have equal rights to live in this world because God has created them. Just because they are animals it is not required that we treat them as animal as well. Please be kind and soft heart towards dogs- give them love and care which they have to be given.
