I have not Made any Comments on Janardhan Poojary – MLA Lobo
Mangaluru: “I have not made any comments on Senior Congress Leader and former Union minister Janardhan Poojary. Some media has published my comment on Janardhan Poojary which is far from the truth. I have not reached the level to criticize or comment on Janardhan Poojary”, said MLA of Mangaluru South Constituency J R Lobo in a press meet held at his office here on February 17.
Lobo further clarified on the statement published by some news dailies and said, “Recently when the MLAs meet was held in Bengaluru as a part of the Session, some news dailies have published that MLA Lobo has commented on taking disciplinary action against Janardhan Poojary. I Hereby clarify that this news is far from the truth. I do not want to give any statement on our senior leaders. Many senior leaders have strived hard to strengthen the party. Janardhan Poojary is a senior leader and he has contributed a lot to the party. Any statements of such kind that are published in the media in my name are totally false and not connected to me”.
He also said, “During the MLA meetings or sessions the proceedings or discussions are not disclosed. It is surprising that the media has published saying I had made the statement against Poojary which is not true. We need his guidance and support for the Congress party. We respect Poojary and his contribution towards the party.
Lobo further clarified saying, “Those who have worked for the party should be respected, I respect all those who have contributed to the party. I can never reach the level to comment against Janardhan Poojary”.
Looks like Mangaluru MLA is spending his time on important things like press release, udhghatana samarambh etc. The less important things like dysfunctional MCC, non-existing infrastructure, cleanliness campaign are not on his list. Great job – keep it up!
