Noted Drug Peddler Rahim Kandi Arrested, 1.1 Kg Ganja Seized
Mangaluru: The Economic and Narcotic Crime Police arrested a drug peddler and seized 1.1 Kg of Ganja while he was selling it near Sri Ram Garage adjacent to Srinivas College, Pandeshwar here on July 8.
The arrested has been identified as Rahim alias Kandi Rahim alias Goods Rahim (44) from Ansari Cross Road, Bunder.
According to the police, Rahim was selling ganja to the students near Sri Ram garage which is adjacent to Srinivas College in Pandeshwar. The Economic and Narcotic Crime Police arrested Rahim and seized 1.1 kg of ganja, Honda Activa and a digital weighing scale from his possession.
Rahim was involved in various crimes and 11 ganja cases have been registered against him in various police stations.
Under the direction of Police Commissioner Sandeep Patil, DCP Law and order Hanumantharaya and DCP Crime and traffic Lakshmi Ganesh the operation was carried out by the Economic and Narcotic Crime Police Inspector Ramakrishna K K and team.
