NSUI Udupi District condemns violence at JNU Campus

Udupi: The National Students Union of India (NSUI) Udupi District condemned the violence at the Jawaharlal Nehru University and urged the Delhi Police to take action.

In a press release Christan Almedia district president said that NSUI Udupi district condemns the violence on JNU students by ABVP. It is a barbaric act in the Temple of learning. This act of violence reflects the mindset of ABVP & its parent organisation.

He further said that the Modi Government is trying to suppress the voice of the students by attacking innocent students. The attack on professors shows the mindset of ABVP, this is what they have been trained for. Use of violent means to suppress democratic values and thoughts will never succeed. The Delhi Police should immediately stop the violence and restore peace. How will the country progress if our students are not safe inside the University campus? The actions of the present govt have allowed this carnage to take place.

Why are the PM & HM still silent? Why did the Delhi Police not take action faster? Why are violent thugs able to act with such impunity? The BJP Led Union Government must answer, he demanded.
