NSUI Udupi receives ‘Best working District’ among 6 Active Districts

Udupi: National Students Union of India (NSUI) Karnataka held the “Best working district” presidents award ceremony at Sirur Park, Bengaluru on March 14.

NSUI Udupi district president Christen D’Almeida received the award for being one among the top 6 active districts.

As Behtar Bharat statistics it is said that NSUI Udupi District also stands third in Behtar Bharat campaign Registration after Bengaluru Urban and Bengaluru rural districts.

KPCC working president Eshwar Khandre, NSUI national president Neeraj Kundan, NSUI In-charge of Karnataka Surbhi Dwivedi, NSUI state president Manjunath HS and National secretary Shadab Khan were also present.

Later a training progamme was organized for all the NSUI district and state office bearers in preparation for the forthcoming elections.

NSUI Udupi is known for various works ranging from raising the voice in regard to students issues, social work etc. NSUI Udupi is a unit which celebrates all festivals with orphans and the less fortunate. It had also organized programmes such as Nanna Karnataka, Behtar Bharat, Drug awareness camps and so on.
