Oman Tuluver to Present Cultural Extravaganza on Nov 10

Muscat: Oman Tuluver in association with Mughal Darbar is jointly organizing a mega cultural event on November 10 at the AL Falaj Hotel Muscat.

Oman Tuluver, a team comprising of dynamic art lovers is gearing up to entertain the people across the city with yet another programme with a cultural programme, a confluence of Dance, Drama and Comedy at the Grand Hall, Al Falaj Hotel, Ruwi on Friday, November 10, 2017.

The team “Oman Tuluver” have successfully hosted several programmes in the past supporting the rich Tulu language, its culture and heritage in the Sultanate of Oman. On continuation of the same the team is all set to set the stage on fire with the following events namely,

Tulu stage play: After the grand success of Yakshagana ballet last year, and the immense appreciation from the community the team has ventured to organize a Tulu comedy family stage play, “PORLUDAYE” written by Kalaratna Dinesh Attavar, played with Lion Kishore Shetty group “LAKUMI”.

Comedy Show: The most popular comedy team “Maskiri Kudla” from Mangalore led by Deepak Rai will entertain the Oman audience with their superb comedy skills. Deepak and team have performed in several TV programs, the most popular ones are the Mahabharata (Colours Kannada) and Bale Telipale (Namma TV) and acted in many TULU films. Also a well-known comedian in Bale Telepale TV show Umesh Mijar and team will perform on the occasion.

Dances: Local talented Tuluvares are also geared up to showcase their superb dancing skills on stage highlighting the rich Tulu culture.

The show will commence at 4:00 pm and go on for about 5 hours. The gate will open at 2:30 pm and passes for this event will be available at the venue on the day of the event. Entry is FREE.

  1. Oman Tuluver have been organizing quality cultural programs and sports events since 2-3 years involving all from coastal Karnataka without any linguistic bias. I salute them for their dedication, hard work and sincere efforts in uniting the people of Karnataka.

    I am sure the upcoming event “Nanaate” will be a Tulu Parba for coastal Karnataka people residing in Oman and I wish the organizers all the very best for a super duper success.
