Omni Car driver Seriously Injured while Avoiding Snake on Road
Bantwal: In a tragic road accident an Omni car driver was seriously injured after his car collided into a private bus when the car coming from the opposite direction tried to avoid a snake coming under it at Mani here on February 2.
According to the police, on February 2, Mohan was on his way to Uppinangady from Mangaluru. At Mani, the driver of a car coming from the opposite direction followed by a private bus applied sudden brakes in order to avoid a snake on the road. The private bus driver noticing the unexpected action of the vehicle in front of him swerved the bus to the right colliding into the oncoming Mohan’s Omni car.
Severely injured Mohan was rushed to the hospital. The snake was also injured and died on the spot.
A case has been registered in the Vittal police station.
