One held in Katpadi Migrant Worker’s murder
Udupi: The Kaup police on Friday, March 23 have arrested a person in connection with the murder of a migrant worker from North Karnataka.
The arrested has been identified as Masthiyappa (52) resident of Mundagoda.
According to the police, migrant worker Irappa of Dharwad district was found dead on the Achchada Road near Katpadi on February 10. He was killed using lethal weapons. The police formed an investigation team under the leadership of Halamoorthy CPI Kaup. The police have succeeded in arresting the main accused in the case. The accused has been produced before the court and sent him for judicial custody.
The Kaup police are searching for another accused in this case.
