Opposing Everything is dangerous for the Development of DK – Lobo During Inauguration of “Sanskriti’

Mangaluru: The residential and Commercial project of Land Trades “Sanskriti”, was inaugurated at Mangaladevi here on March 26.

The programme began with an invocation. Chairman of Land Trades Srinath Hebbar welcomed the gathering. The project was inaugurated by the MLA of Mangaluru South Constituency J R Lobo by lighting the traditional lamp along with other dignitaries on the dais.

Addressing the gathering corporator of Mangaladevi ward Premanand Shetty said, “Last month one of Srinath Hebbar’s project with all modern facilities was inaugurated at Emmekere and today another project “Sanskriti” has been inaugurated. Normally during the construction of such projects, locals in the area file complaints to the corporator against the builder but I have not received a single complaint from any of the locals against Hebbar during the construction work of his projects. This shows that Hebbar is very much aware of the problems and takes all measures to avoid inconvenience to the people in the area where his projects are coming up. I wish Srinath all the success in his future endeavours.”

MLA J R Lobo’s birthday was celebrated by Land Trades by cutting the cake.

In his inaugural address, Lobo said, “I congratulate Srinath Hebbar for his 32nd project “Sanskriti” and also thank him for celebrating my birthday in a special manner.

As D B Mehta had said, when his clients ask him for another option, he would suggest Land trades. Allegro and Land Trades are the only two builders who have secured Crisil A Grade ratings. There is a specific protocol to obtain the Crisil rating. All the builders should follow in the footsteps of Srinath Hebbar because when they work on any project, people should not hesitate to buy their product.

For the development of Mangaluru city, the builder’s fraternity has contributed a lot. At this critical juncture, D B Mehta has continued as president of CREDAI. Now it is not easy to maintain the quality of the projects but Srinath Hebbar has manage to maintain the best quality in all his projects”.

Lobo further said, “For the basic infrastructure, we spend a lot of money since our city has been selected for the smart city, in 5 years time we will invest Rs 2000 crores in Mangaluru. But if we spend Rs 2000 crore it will not create employment. We need to use the infrastructure and create jobs, develop the IT sector, medical sector, education field, Tourism and we should project our city as an investment friendly city so that people will come to Mangaluru and invest here. This is a collective responsibility where we should support the investors. We need to develop a positive attitude, if not investors will not come to Mangaluru.

Lobo further said, “After the education of our children, we are sending them to other districts, states, and country in search of jobs because there are no industries here and we want our children to get good jobs. Opposing everything for the sake of opposing is dangerous to the development of the district. We need to think positively and also create jobs. Today we are seeing elderly people staying in Mangaluru sending their children for jobs to other countries. When we create jobs in Mangaluru our children will work in our own city. We all are highly educated, therefore we should express our opinion for the sake of development. We must project Mangaluru as investment friendly thereby contributing to the development of the district.”

Lobo congratulated all the occupants of Sanskriti and wished them a pleasant stay.

An announcement was made by D B Mehta through Manohar Prasad, “In the world, 200 countries have been surveyed for the quality of life and Mangaluru has been ranked 48th best city in the world, Mumbai is ranked 178th best city. If such a trend continues we will surely be ranked number one city in the world”.

Managing Trustee of Mangaladevi Temple P Ramanath Hegde, William D’Souza, Naveen D’Souza, Arum Coelho among others were also present.

Manohar Prasad compered the programme.  CEO of Land Trades Satyasai Kumar delivered the vote of thanks.
