Oscar & Ponni Architects bag Twin Honors at 2017 Icons of Spaces Singapore- 4th Icons of Spaces turns the spotlight on Leading Developers, Consultants & Architects from India
Singapore: Singapore-based Business Excellence & Research Group (BERG), hosted its signature real estate event – Icons of Spaces – the 4thBERG Real Estate Awards on Sep 13, 2017 at the Raffles Town Club in Singapore. The Summit &Awards, in its fourth year included Project Consultants, Structural Engineers & Infrastructure Companies in addition to Developers, Architects & Interior Designers. The summit aimed at highlighting Sustainable Development was held to coincide with the International Green Building Conference (IGBC), since BERG Singapore was one of the supporting partners for the IGBC this year.
The Summit felicitated leading Real Estate Developers, Consultants & Architects for their unique works. Oscar & Ponni Architects Chennai were presented the 2 Awards for Residential Township of the Year for their Project SARE Jubilee Dewy Terraces and Institutional Project of the Year for St. Bede’s School & Auditorium.
Oscar & Ponni Architects, Chennai have won more than 88 International, National and State Awards for Architecture & Interiors. Over the years they built their practice designing versatile projects such as Universities, Engineering and Medical Colleges stadiums at Doha, Qatar, several Information technology Parks, Bio tech Parks, Nano Technology parks, townships, hospitals, apartments, Hotels, Resorts, Malls, Corporate offices, luxury Bungalows, Factories, SEZ, several Government and State buildings
The Gala Awards Nite provided an ideal platform for industry professionals to come together and deliberate on the challenges around Affordable & Smart housing solutions. The panel discussion at the summit included Mr. Daniel Phua – Regional Industry Head, Architecture-Engineering-Construction at Autodesk, Ms. Maria Benita Regala –National Housing Authority Philippines, Ar. Prem Nath – Mumbai and P. V. Mohan – Director Commercial, Kirby Building Systems India Pvt. Ltd. and moderated by Vishwesh Iyer, Managing Partner, BERG Singapore.

The BERG Real Estate Awards were introduced by Singapore-based organization Business Excellence & Research Group Pte Ltd in 2014. The Awards, now called the ICONS OF SPACES, turns the spotlight on the high caliber work within the real estate industry, encompassing construction, architecture and interior design. With a professionally run evaluation system, they also bring the real estate industry of the participating countries to the world stage.
