Ph.D. in English Awarded to Ms Mareena S Sequeira an Alumni of St Aloysius College
Mangaluru: Mrs Mareena Seema Sequeira, Assistant Professor of English at Trisha College of Commerce and Management, Mangaloruru is awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in English by Rayalaseema University, Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh for her thesis titled “FACTORS AFFECTING READING COMPREHENSION IN ENGLISH AMONG THE FIRST YEAR PRE-UNIVERSITY STUDENTS- A STUDY IN DAKSHINA KANNADA DISTRICT OF KARNATAKA STATE”.
She did her Doctoral study under the guidance of Dr A. Lourdusami, Head & Dean PG Dept. of English (Retired), St Aloysius College, Mangaljru
She is the Distinguished Toastmaster of Mangalore Toastmasters Club and the wife of Dr Manuel Tauro, Dean of Commerce at St Aloysius (Deemed to be University) Mangaluru.
