Pickup overturns at Hemmadi Spilling Fish on Road
Kundapur: A Pick-up van overturned after its tyre burst on NH 66 near Hemmadi, Kundapur taluk during the wee hours of October 8.
According to sources, the pick-up was carrying fish from Ankola to Kota. The driver lost control of the vehicle after its rear tyre burst near Samraddhi Bar in Hemmadi. The vehicle filled with fish spewed its entire content on the road after it overturned on the National Highway.
No injuries were reported. Traffic was disrupted for some time.
