Police Commissioner Issues Traffic Advisory During Defence Minister’s Visit to Mangaluru on Jan 27

Mangaluru: The defence minister Rajnath Singh will be visiting Mangaluru on January 27 to attend the Pro CAA and NRC meet at the Gold Finch City Grounds Kulur.

The following traffic advisory is for information to the public and guidelines to be followed by the organizers and participants of the event.

. All vehicles coming from Udupi and Mangaluru City to the function place must be parked in designated slots for two-wheelers, cars and buses.

Guidelines for the public in view of Traffic diversions mentioned below which will be in force on January 27 from 9:00 am till 9:00 pm, in view of the said function.

Vehicles coming from Udupi towards Bengaluru are requested to take a diversion at Padubidri towards Karkala – Dharmasthala – Shiradi Ghat.
Vehicles coming from Bengaluru to Mangaluru are requested to take a diversion at Melkar – B C Road via Konaje – Thokkottu – Mangaluru.
One more diversion at B C Road Kaikamba for those travelling from B C Road to Mangaluru via Polali Kaikamba.
Vehicles coming from B C Road and Pumpwell are requested to take a diversion from Nanthur – Kaikamba – Moodbidri.

Vehicles coming from Kottara Chowki are requested to take a diversion from Kottara Chowki – KPT – Nanthur – Moodbidri.

Vehicles coming from City are requested to take the following diversion city – KPT – Nanthur – Moodbidri.

The Police commissioner has requested the general public to follow the traffic diversions carefully to avoid confusion.
