I did not apply for the medal instead our Police commissioner Chandra Sekhar recommended our service and today we have received the CM’s medal. If we work hard with dedication surely recognition follow. While working we need to perform our duties with integrity and transparency. Our police commissioner has identified our work and supported us. When we receive the medal, the responsibility increases. I will perform my duties well with transparency and integrity.”

Speaking on the occasion SP Bhushan Borase said, “I congratulate the police personnel who have received the CM’s medal. We have received 8 medals for our district, which is a proud moment for all of us. In this context I would like to congratulate police commissioner Chandra Sekhar because of his hard work and efforts, Mangaluru commissionrate has received 6 Medals. Many times I think I am SP of DK as well as the third DCP for the Police Commissioner because it is a pride to work under him. CM’s gold medal is a lifetime recognition for your achievement. Mangaluru is a beautiful city and police should play a vital role in making the city more beautiful.”
