Police Constable Commits Suicide by Hanging
Mangaluru: A police constable committed suicide by hanging at his residence at Mary Hill here on February 22 late night.
The deceased has been identified as Lokanath (35) CPC 743.
Lokanath was working as a police constable in the East Police station.
The reason for the extreme step is yet to be ascertained. Lokanath is survived by wife and two children.
The body has been sent to the government Wenlock Hospital for post-mortem.
