Police Hold Route March in Ullal and Konaje Area to Instill Confidence among Citizens

Mangaluru: As precautionary measures and to ensure the safety and security of the people during the elections. A Route March was held in Konaje and Ullal on March 15.

The Mangaluru City Police conducted a route march in Konaje and Ullal Police station limits to instill confidence among the people. The Route march started from the Abbakka Circle and moved through Mogaveerpatna, Kotepura, Kodi Junction and back to the Abbakka circle.

From Konaje 50 police personnel including the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) platoons and 50 police from the Ullal police station participated in the route march. ACP Ram Rao along with the police inspectors from both the police stations also participated in the route march.

The Police route march was carried out to instill confidence among the people of Konaje and Ullal area. The route march will continue in other areas in the district to ensure security during the Lok Sabha election process and to see that the elections will be held smoothly. The Police Commissionerate under the able leadership of Police commissioner Sandeep Patil has taken all the necessary measures in this regard.
