Police Release Sketch of Unidentified Male Body Found in Gurupur River
Mangaluru: Police from the North station have released the sketch of the unidentified man whose body was found near Tippu Nagar in the Gurupur river on June 7.
It is suspected that the man was murdered and his body was dumped in the river.
The police officials have stated that the body was found with the neck and hands tied with a cloth. It is suspected that man was killed 3 or 4 days ago and dumped in the river. Stab injuries were also found on the stomach.
To identify the body the North police have released the sketch of the man. The age of the deceased is around 35 to 40 years.
The North police have registered a case under sections 302, 201 of the IPC and investigation is on.
