Prostitution Racked at Rented House Busted, Pimp Arrested
Mangaluru: The CCB police have arrested a pimp from Matadakani for running a prostitution racket at a rented house on November 19.
The arrested has been identified as Meghraj(26) from Kuntikan Mangaluru.
On November 19, after getting information from reliable sources about the prostitution racket running at a rented house at Matadakani 1st cross, the CCB police got into action and raided the house. In the raid, the police arrested a pimp and rescued the women.
The police seized a laptop, 2 mobile phones, 2 motorbikes, an Auto rickshaw and cash Rs 6000 all worth Rs 1.71 lakh.
According to police Meghraj had rented a house at Matadakani 1st cross and was making money by running a prostitution racket.
The Barke police have registered a case and investigation is on since many others are also involved in this crime.
The operation was carried out by the CCB police Inspector Shantharam Kundar, PSI Kabbal Raj, Barke PSI Shobha and team.
