Prostitution Racket at Apartment in Kadri Busted, Two Pimps Arrested
Mangaluru: The Mangalore East police arrested two pimps for running a prostitution racket and rescued a woman from an Apartment in Kadri here on October 26.
The arrested have been identified as Kavya (32) and Laksmi (47) from Mulki.
On October 26, after getting information from reliable sources about a prostitution racket being operated at Marian Sentinel Apartment at Flat number 303, in Kadri, the Mangaluru East police got into action and raided the Apartment. In the raid, the police arrested two women pimps and rescued a woman.
A case has been registered in the Mangaluru East Police Station and the investigation is on.
Under the direction of Police commissioner Dr Harsha, and under the guidance of DCP Law and Order Arunagshu, DCP Crime and Traffic Lakshmi Ganesh the operation was carried out by the Mangaluru East Police Inspector Shantharam, PSI Maruti and team.
