Prostitution Racket Busted in Kodialguttu, Two including Pimp Arrested
Mangaluru: The CCB police have arrested two persons including a woman pimp from an apartment involved in prostitution at Kodialguttu here on February 24.
The arrested have been identified das Riyas Ahamed (35) from Adyar and Pimp Nithi (name Changed).
On getting reliable information about the prostitution racket at Kodialguttu, the CCB police led by Police Inspector Shantharam Kunder and team got into action and succeeded in arresting two persons who were involved in prostitution. The police seized mobile phones, Rs 1800 cash, and an autorickshaw all worth Rs 1.61 lakh from their possession.
The woman pimp residing in the apartment was earning by appointing girls for prostitution. The victim from West Bengal has been rescued by the police. Both the accused have been handed over to the Barke police station for further investigations.
The operation was carried out by the CCB Inspector Shantharam Kunder, PSI Shyamsundar, Kabbalaraj and others.
