Prostitution Racket Busted at Nagori, 3 held, 5 Women Rescued
Mangaluru: The Kankanady police raided a prostitution centre at Nagori here on December 25.
Three men were arrested and 5 women were rescued during the raid. The arrested have been identified as Manu alias Manoj (24) Harish Shetty (38) and Durgesh Shetty (46), from Farangipet Bantwal.
On getting information that a prostitution racket was operating in a building at Nagori, the Kankanady police raided the building and arrested three men. Five women were rescued by the police.
All the three accused have been produced before the court where they were remanded to judicial custody.
A case has been registered in Kankanady Police station.
