‘Qualification Has To Be Earned, NOT Purchased’- Dr Kaup Mohammed, Dean and MD of London American City College, UAE during His address on “New Marketing Techniques/Thinking In The Contemporary Organizations” organised by Kanara Chamber of Commerce & Industry, on Tuesday, 13 August 2019.

Mangaluru : ‘Qualification Has To Be Earned, NOT Purchased’- said by Dr Kaup Mohammed, Dean-London American City College, UAE during his address to the youth send a clear message to few students who join a bunch of institutions in the City by paying lump sum money as admission fees, and also try to get their degree also by paying lump sum money to corrupt people who are engaged in such trade. Well said by Dr Kaup Mohammed. And such youth who get their qualification/degree/ranks by bribe and later join big companies abroad or in India, don’t last long- even though they get HIRED looking at their credentials , but soon get FIRED due to their lack of skills and knowledge.

The Talk on “New Marketing Techniques/Thinking In The Contemporary Organizations” by Dr Kaup Mohammed was organized by Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mangaluru on Tuesday, 13 August 2019, at the Chamber Hall. P B Abdul Hameed-the President of KCCI welcomed the gathering, while Isaac Vas- Vice-President of KCCI gave a brief introduction of Dr K Mohammed. The vote of thanks was proposed by Prashant C G- Secretary of KCCI. Thanking everyone who made the occasion possible, Dr. Kaup went on to deliver a lecture on “New Marketing Thinking and thoughts of the Contemporary Organisations “

He mentioned about the difference between the Old and New Marketing thoughts with specific reference to the customer dealing and relationship, global partnership and also the E-Commerce activities and concepts. He also mentioned to the gathering that a student should complete his or her academic profile and should attain a degree with knowledge and experience. He stated that the knowledge should be applied in the real world situation. He also mentioned about achieving the Five performance objectives in the personal and professional life. This included achieving quality objective, speed objective, dependability objective, flexibility objective and cost objective. He mentioned to the audience, to follow ethical principles in dealing with the customers and try to provide the best outcome to the customers. He spoke about dealing with ordinary and extra ordinary customers.

Dr. Kaup also spoke about imbibing marketing culture while taking a position in marketing. He spoke about product based marketing and market based marketing definitions. Dr. Kaup’s session was followed with question answer session and proposition of vote of thanks by Prashant C G-the secretary of KCCI. A bevy of students from City colleges took part in the session, which was very informative and educative.

ABOUT PROF. DR KAUP MOHAMMED:

Prof. Dr. Kaup is currently the Dean & Managing Director at the London American City College & World of Knowledge Management Development Centre (WKMDC), UAE; ICBEST – Sharjah, Applied Training Centre; San Jos Educational Institute and Livonia Training Centre, UAE, managing the Management Development Programs, UG, PG & Doctoral courses, professional certification courses and e-learning programs of the institutions of Europe & USA. He is also the Adjunct Professor of the Madonna University, Michigan State, USA, City of London College, UK, and several other institutions around the world. Dr. Kaup has more than 25 years of experience in teaching, training and research. Besides, the current capacity, Dr. Kaup is also an effective counselor for guiding the students and the trainees in choosing their career path for studying abroad in well known Universities and Colleges and also competent in providing training in the field of business and management.

Prof. Dr. Kaup holds several Doctorates from India, Europe and United States of America. Prof. Dr. Kaup holds Doctorates from UGC Approved Indian Universities (BU and MLS University), MBA and Doctorate in Business Administration from Apollos University, USA and other Honorary Doctorates from Europe and other US Universities. He is a Ph.D. Research Guide for 2 UGC approved Indian Universities, and has been the external examiner of Ph.D. program including MIM Institute of Management and Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Ambala, India. He is also an external examiner for the City of London College, UK, Euro college, Macedonia, UBIS University, Switzerland, Madonna University, Michigan, IUM, Moscow for the undergraduate and graduate students. He has traveled extensively to several countries (such as USA, U.K., Netherlands, Germany, France, India, Oman, UAE, Denmark, Singapore, Switzerland, Italy, Bangkok, Macedonia, Poland, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, etc.) for delivering his lectures, conducting workshops, seminars, colloquiums, training programs and for quality assurance purposes.

Dr. Kaup has around 25 research publications in various international journals and has been an active contributor in various projects. He has guided more than 300 research projects students in the Master’s level program, and more than 500 internship research students in their undergraduate and post graduate programs of study. He has won several awards in the field of management research and development, project research and development and is an excellent academician with immense research oriented knowledge. He was conferred with the “World Leader and Excellence in Business Leadership Award” by the World Confederation of Businesses, USA, and also received “Bizz Award 2013” on behalf of the London American City college at the World Confederation of Businesses, USA and European Award for Best Practices in Brussels, Belgium.

His current area of research and training interest is in Business Strategies, Operations & Production Management, Quality Management, Consumer Protection Law, Creative Problem Solving – A Total Systems Approach, Decision Making, Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Business Project Management, Marketing, Strategies for Success, etc. His research paper on “Customer Relationship Management that aids in customer-centric processes” was published in “The Observer of Management Education” Journal. His latest publications including “Development of New Concepts and Purposes add value to CRM” etc. are featured in the International Journal of Management Research and Review, International Journal of Research in Commerce, Economics and Management in the area of strategic management, etc. Dr. Kaup coaches, guides, consults and trains student population in the field of education in India. He is also currently the Vice President of Karnataka NRI Forum constituted under the aegis of NRI Cell, Government of Karnataka.
