Raid on Illegal Gambling Center, 12 arrested by CCB Police

Mangaluru: The CCB police raided a gambling center and arrested 12 persons involved in gambling at Mucchilakodi here on October 15.

The arrested have been identified as Ganesh (38) Yashwantipur, Mucchilakodi, Tilak (28) Prasad  (38),  Jayaraj (27),  Lokesh (32), Keshav  (27), Drahas Das (26), Naveen Kumar  (26), Rohith  (27), Ranjith (29) and Sharath Raj (25) all from Konaje.

The CCB police arrested all the 12 persons and seized playing cards and cash Rs 22,485/- from their possession.  The arrested have been handed over to the Konaje police  for further investigations.

Under the direction of Police Commissioner T R Suresh and under the guidance of DCP Law and order Hanumantharaya and DCP Crime and traffic Uma Prashanth the operation was carried out by the CCB police.
