Rajesh Pavithran Suspended from the Post of party Leader – Hindu Mahasabha

Mangaluru: “On September 26, we came to know that the State leader of Hindu Mahasabha Rajesh Pavithran was involved in a criminal case. We immediately contacted the police commissioner for information in this matter and came to know about his involvement in the case. The party has a disciplinary committee which takes action on anyone involved in illegal activities. Accordingly, the committee has suspended Rajesh Pavithran from his post as the state leader. He will continue as a common member in the Hindu Mahasabha until the investigations are completed”, said the state spokesperson of Hindu Mahasabha Dharmendra in a press meet held at Hotel Woodlands here on September 27.

Addressing the mediapersons Dharmendra said, “On September 23, a woman from the Karnataka Rakshana Vedike called Rajesh Pavithran and said that an old man was making blue films of young girls and requested his help. Rajesh refused to come to Mangaluru as he was busy and asked the woman to come to Suratkal. The woman along with the elderly man came to Suratkal and met Rajesh. The elderly man who looked very tired said that he has BP and sugar. Seeing the old man Rajesh provided him with food, and asked the woman to hand over the case to the CBI instead of referring him to him”.

Dharmendra further said, “The Hindu Mahasabha is not taking any responsibility as we have suspended Rajesh Pavithran from the post of the state leader. Rajesh is a social worker and has been helping people in need. Some people are after Rajesh to defame him. The Hindu Mahasabha is requesting the concerned authorities to drop Rajesh’s name from this case.”

Hindu Mahasabha leaders Lohith Suvarna, Rajesh Poojary, Naveen Kumar, Lokesh Ullal and others were also present.
