RKM holds ‘Swacchategage Jaadoo’ Magic show to create Awareness on Cleanliness

Mangaluru: To mark the Swacch Mangaluru Abhiyan, Ramakrishna Mission organised, “Swacchategage Jaadoo”, (Magic for cleanliness), a mobile act through magic shows to bring awareness among the people on cleanliness at different places, the Swacchategage Jaadoo was launched on March 19 at Panambur Beach. The Swacchategage Jaadoo was presented by Magic master Kudroli Ganesh at the Kankanady Market ground, here on March 22.

Magic Master Kudroli Ganesh welcomed the guests to the dais. The inauguration of the “Swacchategage Jaadoo” was done in a unique way. Social activist Srikar Prabhu inaugurated the “Swacchategage Jaadoo” programme with the first magic of the show.

Addressing the gathering Srikar Prabhu said, “The Swacch Mangaluru Abhiyan initiated by Ramakrishna Mission is very successful and cleanliness drives are being held every Sunday along with various NGO’s and the public. Prime minister Modi has said to the citizens of the country that they have the responsibility of fulfilling Mahatma Gandhi’s dream of ridding the country of dirt and filth by 2019. Yes, it is everyone’s duty to keep our homes, surroundings, and society clean for a Swacch Bharat.”

Srikar Prabhu further said, “India is the fastest developing country and students are the asset of our country. We need to bring awareness to the students to keep the surroundings clean. We need to have a bath so that we can keep ourselves clean. Likewise, when we throw the waste wherever we feel, it will create a dirty environment which should be cleaned. Students love to watch magic shows and Ramakrishna Mission has taken the initiative by holding magic shows to bring awareness among the students as well as the general public. Let us all pledge to keep our surroundings clean”.

Kudroli Ganesh through his Magic skills enthralled the audience with his magic show bringing the much-needed awareness on practices of keeping the surroundings and city clean thereby contributing Mahatma Gandhi’s dream of a Swacch Bharat.

  1. Good reporting. Did Kudroli Ganesh have any magic trick to make certain communities in Mangaluru step out of their religious boundaries and do what’s right for the society? I’m just curious.
